Open the image on Instagram.

Add the following appends (or suffixes) to the URL of the Instagram image and hit Enter after adding them:

For medium sized image: media/?size=m

Eg. If you wish to view and download the following image in medium size - https://www.instagram.com/p/CqK0Ja6vL1C/, then the procedure will be as follows:

1. Simply add media/?size=m as append to the URL of the image. The final URL will become https://www.instagram.com/p/CqK0Ja6vL1C/media/?size=m . Hit Enter to view the image in medium size.
2. Right-click on the image and select Save Image As..
3. Save the image to the location of your choice.

For thumbnail-sized image: media/?size=t

Eg. If the image https://www.instagram.com/p/CqK0Ja6vL1C/ is to be downloaded in thumbnail size, then the procedure to do so will be as follows:

1. Add the append media/?size=t to the end of the URL of this image. The final URL will become https://www.instagram.com/p/CqK0Ja6vL1C/media/?size=t . Hit Enter to view this image in thumbnail size.
2. Finally, right-click on this image and select Save Image As.
3. Save the image at the location of your size on your computer.

One may ask that if Instagram images are already medium in size, why do we need to view them separately. The only reason one might want to do so is to download it onto their computer.
