The Consumer Electronics Show 2012 & Review of Some Gadgets

The Consumer Electronics Show or CES of 2012 was a grand success yet again. Almost around 2,700 exhibitors had taken part in this show. It is such a grand show and held on such a big space that there were also golf carts to take you around. According to recent reports almost 14,000 cups of java were sold just as the coffee cups and more than 80 new tablets were announced in this fair.

Some of the newer gadgets and their reviews which were exhibited in 2011 are:

1.  Philips uWand 3D Pointer – Philips uWand 3D Pointer does away with the several buttons that cover your TV remote, Blu-ray player and surround-sound speaker system remotes, roof shutter  remote and so on. It has the 3D gesture control technology and also has a camera. This camera identifies the beacons that are built into the different devices. This helps you to directly point and click and use objects in three dimensions. This is going to give you the effect as if you are touching the devices directly. Now, isn’t that great!

2.  Winegard Cio Mobile Digital TV – Though you may have a TV, you may not have one that you can take around anywhere. But now, with the introduction of Winegard Cio Mobile Digital TV in CES, 2011, you may be able to do that too. It supports numerous featuresit is a multistandard player which has 10.2-inch screen with the touch technology. It has the ability to support iPods, CD and DVDs, SD and any other kinds of card-media formats, and as well as the USB and game inputs. In addition, it also provides optional mobile digitals like TV, Wi-Fi, and also 3G connectivity.

3.  Dynamic Card 2.0– Give the identity thieves a miss with this. Yes, what you are hearing is true. The identity thieves will no more be able to get your identity and number if you sue this card.
