Overview Of Apple iOS 5 From WWDC 2011

• New notification center:

This time, the all app  notifications are integrated into a single pop up list, and swiping down brings you to the relevant app.

• Twitter integration

Apple integrated twitter into the iOS 5 and now you can use twitter details along with camera, photos, safari and maps. You wont need to log in to twitter again and again,  just change the settings and start tweeting flawlessly.

• Newsstand:

This is the place where all newspaper and magazine subscriptions will be downloaded and presented.

• Safari Reader:

This browser feature will  omit the image content from the internet pages and only text content will be shown.

• Reminders:

This feature will remind you according to your location and it will sync up with  your devices and calendar.

• iOS PC Free:

Finally this is the luring feature from Apple. Now the user wont need to connect their devices to PC all the time. And now users will be able to sync their iTunes libraries over WiFi connections with the update. Even the updates can be downloaded directly via air i.e OTA(Over the air technology).

 

• iMessage:

 

Just like BBM(BlackBerry Messenger), Apple has introduced their own new messaging service iMessage. This messenger is compatible with all iOS devices and will be able to send photos, songs and much more. Group chatting is possible via this feature. In addition the iMessage user will get the delivery reports and reading confirmations.
