Get Your First Android HTC Pluse For Free: Amazing Offer From MTS

Updated on: January 12, 2019

Hello  friends if you plan to buy your first android in this season then i say don't buy it 🙂 ,ohh confused?,no I am not against  Android rather I am powerful supporter of android(though I amusing Nokia N8 for other purpose),so you think why I am telling you such thing, because I want save/utilize your money in some extend. So the news is MTS is launching its first CDMA(Code Division multiple Access) smartphone in the market, the Android 2.1 Froyo -based HTC Pulse, a launch that also celebrates the company reaching the milestone of 10 million subscribers in India. The phone also happens to be the first operator-subsidised smartphone in the country ,it comes free with a one year contract that has a post-paid monthly data plan of Rs 1,500.

With this plan, subscriber will get 1,500 minutes of talk time, 1,500 messages and 1,500 MB of data every month for the first 12 months. The phone can also be purchased separately from MTS for Rs 18,000,So this offer saves your money indirectly

The Advertisement in Times of India today caught my eye – It says  “You pay just for usage, we will pay for the phone”. In the U.S, it is a norm to offer high-end mobile phones with yearly Contracts – But in India these kind of contract offerings have not yet taken root as yet.MTS is probably one of the first Telecom carriers in India  who have bundled a Free high end smartphone along with an yearly contract.

Let us do some simple calculations – At Rs. 1500/- per month MTS ends up getting about Rs. 18k in a year. The real cost of this phone is probably close to about Rs. 18k (and MTS may have got it much cheaper according to bulk request ). So,  MTS stands to make 8 to 10 k in a year from a new subscriber. Additionally, for MTS, they have gained a new post-paid subscriber who probably will stay with them for more than a year.

Although the details are not given, I am sure the phone offered by MTS is a locked phone and can be used only with MTS SIM(Subscriber Identity Module) card.like T-Mobile Service in foreign Country
